Connect ChatGPT
Add Cheqq to ChatGPT as a connector, sign in, and choose what ChatGPT may do.
Connect Cheqq to ChatGPT and work with your records, automations and documents from a ChatGPT conversation: "List the bookings for Saturday", "Mark these two invoices paid", "Start the weekly digest and tell me when it's done". You sign in to Cheqq and approve what ChatGPT may do; there's no key to copy.
Add the connector
ChatGPT adds your own MCP servers in developer mode, on the plans that offer it.
https://cheqq.ai/api/mcp and OAuth as the authentication.Back in ChatGPT, add Cheqq to a conversation from the tools menu in the message box. ChatGPT's menus move from time to time; if yours differ, its help pages on connectors and developer mode have the current steps.
Choose what ChatGPT can do
ChatGPT asks for everything, so Cheqq starts with what a new API key gets ticked: see everything, add and change records, and run automations. Tick more only if you want ChatGPT to delete, reshape your Wapps, build automations, edit documents or Apps, or publish. See Scopes.
The screen also says Cheqq hasn't verified the app, since apps register themselves, and shows the address your answer goes back to. Check it's ChatGPT's before you approve.
ChatGPT works in the one workspace you choose, as you, and never beyond what you can do yourself.
Check before ChatGPT changes things
Cheqq's own approval prompts don't appear when ChatGPT acts. ChatGPT asks you to confirm tool calls that change things; read what it's about to do before you confirm, and leave delete and publish permissions unticked if you'd rather do those in Cheqq.
Fewer tools, or one Wapp's tools
Add to the address to change what ChatGPT sees:
?tools=records(orstructure, workflows, documents, apps, comma separated) offers only those groups.?wapp=content-studioadds one Wapp's own tools.
See MCP tools.
Disconnect
In Cheqq, open Settings → Developer, find ChatGPT under Connected apps, and select Disconnect. Its access stops at once.
