Getting started
Sign in, find the main Cheqq workspace, and complete your first useful task.
Overview
Cheqq gives you one workspace for conversations, reusable Wapps, shared files, integrations, and repeatable workflows. Start with a small outcome you can check, then expand once the result is right.
Keep your first project small
Choose an outcome you can verify without important or sensitive data. Expand the Wapp after the first result behaves as expected.
Set up your account and workspace
After creating your account and signing in, open Settings from the user menu to review the account controls available to you. Your workspace is the shared context for your chats, Wapps, files, integrations, and automations.
Find your way around
After signing in, use the main navigation to move between:
- New chat for a fresh conversation with Cheqq.
- Automations for workflows that can run repeatedly.
- Wapps for installed and custom solutions.
- Files for documents available to Cheqq and your Wapps.
Your user menu contains Settings and account actions. On smaller screens, the same main destinations are available from the mobile navigation.
On a phone
Everything works on a phone, laid out for one.
- Chat opens as a sheet. Tap the chat button and it rises over whatever you're looking at, taking about three quarters of the screen. Dismiss it and the workspace has the whole screen back — neither has to share.
- Collections open as a list of records, so you can read a record's name and its fields at once. The grid is one tap away, and as the screen narrows it gives up its frozen columns rather than squeezing everything into a sliver.
- The calendar puts its Unscheduled items in a sheet, so the month grid gets the width it needs to stay readable.
- Record actions that live in a right-click menu on a desktop are reachable by touch.
Complete a first task in chat
Build your first Wapp
Read Manage a Wapp when you are ready to work in its focused workspace, including publishing it as a public App later.
Connect your first integration
Only grant the access needed for the work you intend to run. Continue with the Integrations guide.
Build from a plan
Plan mode returns a reviewable plan inline in the conversation. When it's right, select Implement this plan to switch the conversation to Agent mode and start the work as a tracked task list.
Where to go next
Once the basics feel familiar, explore Mailhooks for email-triggered workflows, the document editor for Markdown and skill files, and the Companion extension for browser-aware chat and workflows. Or learn how chat modes differ and what Wapps are in more depth.
