Bring your work into Cheqq
Move your Zaps, Airtable bases and spreadsheets into Cheqq. See what comes over before anything moves, then review what Cheqq builds.
Start a move
Select Import on the Wapps page, or open Move to Cheqq at cheqq.ai/import, and choose where your work lives now: Zapier, Airtable, Google Sheets or Excel. Each one walks you through getting your work out of the old tool, shows what will come over, and only then moves it.
Airtable bases and spreadsheets come in without spending AI credits. Zaps are rebuilt in a conversation, which uses credits like any other chat.
Bring a spreadsheet
Drop Excel workbooks, Google Sheets downloads (.xlsx) or CSV files. Each sheet appears with the kind of field every column would become, and a sample value from it. Name the new Wapp and bring it in.
A column becomes dates, numbers, money, percentages, ticks, emails, links or a select only when every cell in it reads that way, so no value is lost to a guess. A date that could be read either way follows your locale, and says so.
Bring an Airtable base
Connect Airtable with a personal access token, pick a base, and see what comes over before anything moves. Every table becomes a collection in a new Wapp:
- Fields keep their types and settings, and select options keep their colours.
- Links stay linked, both ways.
- Files are copied over, and each record keeps the day it was created.
- Formulas, lookups, rollups and counts stay live when Cheqq can get Airtable's own result for every record. Otherwise they come over as values, with the reason.
- Airtable doesn't share its automations. Cheqq rebuilds them for you in a conversation started from the result.
One move brings up to 125,000 records, as many as the largest Airtable Business base holds. For a bigger base, choose fewer tables and bring the rest in a second move.
Prefer not to connect? Download a CSV of each table from Airtable and upload them together. The links between tables are rebuilt from the names the files hold.
Bring your Zaps
.zip..zip as it is. On Team and Enterprise, a .json of your Zaps works too.Cheqq reads only your Zaps: every step and its settings, and none of your connected accounts' passwords. Each Zap is shown in plain words, along with what won't carry over as it is, such as Gmail and Sheets steps, Python code and Sub-Zaps. The Zaps you pick start a conversation where Cheqq rebuilds each as a workflow draft. Nothing is switched on until you review it.
Add a file to a Wapp from its chat
To add records to a Wapp you already have, attach the file in the Wapp's chat with + and Add photos or files, and say where it goes. The Getting started steps of a business system offer the same thing.
- A spreadsheet, CSV or Excel (
.xlsx) of up to 5 MB and 10,000 records, comes into the collection you name. Columns are matched to fields by name. A record with a problem is left out and named, and the rest go in. No AI credits are spent on the records themselves. - A photo or a PDF, like a menu or a price list, is read by Cheqq, which adds a record for each item on it. Reading it uses AI credits like any other message.
You need edit access to the Wapp.
Follow and find your moves
A move keeps going if you close the page. Your moves are listed under Your moves on the import pages, so you can find one that is still running.
If something looks wrong, Ask a person to check it sends the move to support with the conversation attached.
When a move is bigger than your plan
Records, file sizes and storage count against your plan, as everywhere else in Cheqq. A spreadsheet is checked before anything moves, and the upgrade dialog opens if it's too big. An Airtable base is checked once it's read: the move waits as Needs a bigger plan, says what it needs, and offers the smallest plan that takes all of it. Paying brings you back to the waiting move, which says Your new plan is on its way. Choose Continue the move to bring everything in. See Plans, usage, and billing.
