Social Operator

Reply early to the posts where your customers are talking on X, LinkedIn, Facebook and Threads, post on what's rising in your niche, in your own voice, and post only what you approve.

Social Operator finds the posts where a reply from you would land, drafts the reply in your own voice, and posts it from your logged-in browser once you approve it. It spots topics suddenly picking up in your niche and suggests what you could say about them, plans your own posts each week, and learns from how they do.

Set it up

Install it from the Store. Its Home tab walks you through Getting started:

Connect your browser. Install the Cheqq Companion, approve browser access, and log in to your platforms in that browser. Everything it reads and posts goes through your own session.
Say what you do. In a short chat you set up your first Project: what you offer, who you want to reach, the facts a reply may use, your platforms, and roughly where you live, so it works inside your day.
Teach it your voice. Paste three to five things you've written, or let it read your recent posts. See Drafts in your own voice.
Pick where to look. Searches for the words people use when they need what you offer, accounts you want to reply to early, and lists, groups or communities. It suggests some.
Turn on the watch. Switch its automations on from the last step.

What it does through the day

Twice an hour it checks whether one of your Projects is due a look, inside the active hours you set. When one is, it:

  1. Reads that Project's Sources in your browser, newest first.
  2. Saves the posts it hasn't seen that are young enough to answer, a few at a time (the Project's Drafts per check).
  3. Sorts each one: someone asking for a recommendation, a conversation worth joining, or not worth a reply.
  4. Drafts a reply for each one worth it, and tells you what it found.

A look that finds nothing waits twice as long before the next one, up to eight hours, and comes back to your usual pace (Check every minutes) after the next find. It checks whether there's anything to do before doing any real work, so a quiet day costs very little.

Tick Draft wanted on any conversation and a reply is drafted for it.

Replies to someone asking for a recommendation answer first and name your product only where it's genuinely the answer. Replies to a conversation worth joining never name your product or carry a link: they're there to be worth reading, and your profile does the selling.

Approve and post

Open Drafts, then To review. Edit a draft if you like, then set its status to Approved and it's posted from your browser as written, under the post it answers. Discard the ones you don't want. Nothing else is ever posted, liked, followed or messaged, apart from the Own Posts you schedule.

Every draft gets a second look before you see it. Needs a second look lists the ones that read machine-written, or that name your product in a reply meant only to be worth reading.

From any post you're reading, the Companion's Save this post saves it and drafts a reply too. To talk with its author privately instead, Sales Pipeline's Start a conversation adds them to your outreach. See Outbound conversations.

Rising topics

Everything the watch reads is kept for a week in Niche Posts, then cleared each night. Every three hours, Spot rising topics looks there for something at least three different people started posting about in the last day, at least twice as often as the day before. It needs a day of reading to compare with, so the first trends arrive on your second day. A topic that fits what you do lands in Trends with what set it off and two or three angles your Project's facts can back. Sensitive news, like a tragedy or politics, is set aside, and a topic isn't suggested twice in two weeks. When nothing is rising, nothing else runs.

Each trend shows how much time is left: Opening in its first twelve hours, then Peaking, then Late. To post on one, write your own angle in Chosen angle if you like, and tick Post wanted. A draft lands in Own Posts, and the posts driving the trend are saved to Conversations so you can join in there too. Angles lean toward what your earlier trend posts earned followers for.

Turn Watch trends off on a Project to skip all of this for it.

Your own posts

Each Monday, Plan the week drafts the posts your week is short of, up to the Project's Posting cadence per week, inside your content pillars. Set the ones you like to Scheduled and Publish scheduled posts posts them from your browser at their Publish at time, or straight away when they have none. While it goes out it shows Posting. If something stops it, or it's more than a day late, it goes back to Drafted with the reason in Problem, and nothing is posted twice. Each morning, Read how posts did reads last week's numbers and notes what worked, and the next plan learns from it.
